For those of us who love Lebanese food and would like to make it at home, this Fattoush salad is a good first Lebanese dish. Super easy and sooo yummy!
For the salad
For the sumac dressing:
When you serve yourself some salad only (no bread), weigh the salad and then calculate your carbs. If you take 150g of salad, it will correspond to 5g carbs.
Halve the pita bread and toast it. I am only using half to a quarter pita bread per person.
In this wholemeal pita bread, 20,2g carbs equals to 10g carbs
There 4 pita breads in this packet, each one weighs 70g.
Each bread is 34g carbs
I am using half for the Fattoush salad, so 17g carbs per pita bread
