How to make chocolate mousse?

Classic French chocolate mousse dessert: rich and creamy yet light and fluffy in minutes. This wonderful chocolate dessert is my grandmother's secret recipe. I am now sharing it with you! No need for cream, butter or sugar, this a healthy chocolate dessert. This chocolate mousse dessert will take you less than 15 minutes to make.

No need for cream, butter or sugar, this a HEALTHY chocolate dessert. This chocolate mousse dessert will take you less than 15 minutes to make and will delight everyone! 

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
  • 1/2 cup or 120g of full fat milk
  • 250g Nestle dark chocolate

Directions

  • Roughly chop the chocolate
  • Melt the chocolat au bain Marie
  • Separate the yolks from the whites in separate bowls
  • Add some milk to the yolks and mix
  • Fluff up the egg whites in soft peas 
  • Mix the chocolate and the yolks/milk mixture
  • Add the egg whites little by little
  • Put in the ridge for 6 hours before enjoying the mousse au chocolat!

I have divided the chocolate mousse in 16 pots.

✽ This chocolate mousse is not so high in carbs but it is high in fats from the chocolate

– 250g chocolate contains 126g carbs

– 120g full fat milk contains 6g carbs

➡︎ 132g carbs divided in 16 pots= 8,2g carbs per pot

👉 BEWARE of the fat-protein index. In my recipe, each chocolate mousse bowl contains 52 calories.

Anything above 150 calories will increase your blood sugar 3 hours after eating. You should be good with one or two chocolate mousse pots!
