
Diabetes & yummy recipe: This is a typical French dish that is normally served with a big salad on the side. It normally has béchamel sauce on it. In my opinion, it has too many carbs and would be difficult to calculate so I make it like this for my boys.
When you freeze the bread, it helps lower the glycemic index of the food. The same applies if you toast it.
👉 Remember that as a general rule, 20g of bread equals to 1R or 10g carbs
